Elizabeth (EJ) Trefney is a Raleigh-based multimedia artist specializing in pencil drawing, film photography, and cyanotypes. Her experiences leading arts-based healing activities in a hospital setting and involvement in public health advocacy keep caregiving at the center of her life as an artist and research professional. Her pieces have been featured in the Greenville Museum of Art, Sertoma Arts Center, and Frank Gallery. Elizabeth currently lives in North Carolina after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020 with degrees in Health Policy and Management (BSPH) and Studio Art (BA).
